Listen to your heart!” many will say; but your automatic response may be, “Easier said than done!” My first Heart Math session with Dina Stephenson re-affirms just why and how this common directive can be true. Using her natural style of tailoring coaching to an individual’s needs, Dina’s patient way of inviting one to attend to the spirit, the “breath” and Source of life within you, is key to cultivating the inner awareness she promotes. You may be new to meditation and spiritual exercises, or you may be well versed in them. Yet, I was impressed at how Heart Math can be helpful to us all. Dina is able to walk a person through a practice that is simple, but not simplistic. Without offering a pre-programmed or generic solution to the question you may wish to resolve in your meeting with her, she encourages you to seek the very answer that rests with you, and does not attempt to convince you of her own. Be prepared to be honest with yourself about what your heart may have to reveal when you take time to patiently wait and listen to your innermost goals and desires. My only warning is this: Expect the unexpected gifts that lie readily within your grasp!
